Position: Senior Legal Advisor at Ferrovial - Energy Division

We are seeking a proficient Senior Legal Advisor to join our dynamic Energy Division, focusing on the development of renewable energy initiatives. The successful candidate will operate within the Legal Department, reporting directly to the Head of Legal for the Energy sector.

This role is based in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and evaluating contracts related to renewable energy projects, including EPC, O&M, Asset Management, PPAs, lease agreements, and supply & service contracts.
  • Engaging in negotiations and mediating disputes among contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Managing litigation and claims linked to energy project agreements.
  • Collaborating with the legal team to provide insights on mergers and acquisitions.
  • Offering legal advice to ensure compliance with legal standards and internal protocols.
  • Cultivating relationships with external legal consultants.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Law, with mandatory admission to practice in Spain.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the legal sector of a global energy firm. Experience in a reputable law firm is a plus.
  • International exposure across various legal jurisdictions, with knowledge of US law being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in business English; knowledge of additional languages is a benefit.
