About the Role: The Application Engineer associate will provide technical and design expertise to sales representatives, resellers, and customers during the sales process for our Energy+ business unit. You will be given access to a set of software tools to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of project quotations compliant to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and Maintain Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, key customers, and other stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical advisor and reliable on commitments for design and costing delivery.
- Value Proposition: Understand client RFQs and scope requirements, and set up the Pall Design value proposition in coordination with sales.
- Customized Solutions: Select the right design to fit client specifications, working closely with technical inside sales, sourcing, operations, and engineering teams to come up with optimized costing solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical support to customers, addressing complex clarification and concerns, and act as a trusted technical advisor, offering innovative and customized solutions.
- Drive Projects: Drive project progress for standard solutions in coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5 years' experience in pressure vessel equipment or application engineering, with a plus for filtration experience.
- Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, experience working within the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemicals, Petrochemicals industry, and knowledge of major Oil & Gas, Refinery companies specifications preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Integrity: Strong work ethic and ability to travel.
