We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Academic Lecturer in Strategic Marketing to join our team at the Berlin School of Business & Innovation (BSBI).
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop academic modules in Strategic Marketing at the University level.
- Administer, proctor, and mark student assignments and exams.
- Design and develop new curriculum for modules, if required.
- Update syllabi and provide feedback to students.
- Supervise dissertations and provide consultation and mentoring to students.
- Create assignment briefs and exams papers.
- Assess student progress and provide private instruction to improve academic performance.
- Schedule tutoring appointments and monitor student performance.
- Organise the tutoring environment and participate in training sessions.
- Communicate effectively with students and maintain records of student assessment results.
- Prepare lesson plans and develop teaching materials.
- Research and recommend learning materials and communicate student progress.
- Identify and implement intervention strategies and perform day-to-day tasks.
- PhD or equivalent in a business discipline.
- Prior teaching experience in higher education at University level.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite, and Microsoft Teams.
- Scientific publications in a related discipline.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of Educational Platforms and timetabling software.
- Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- High social competence and assertiveness.
- Maintaining an overview even with high workloads.
- Entrepreneurial and economic way of thinking and working.
