Supply Chain Planning Coordinator

Job Description

CHEP is a global leader in the supply chain industry, and we're looking for a talented Supply Chain Planning Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials across our network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and allocation of orders for all types of flows, materials, and qualities to ensure customer satisfaction and stock optimization.
  • Facilitate efficient supply chain planning for execution teams to deliver equipment to customers at the right time, in the right manner, and at the cheapest cost to serve.
  • Lead the execution of seasonal supply surge, including forecasting, communication, execution, and exception management.
  • Use optimization tools, such as JDA, to analyze and adjust flows and production plans to country detail and daily planning of stocks, transfers, flows, and new pallet deliveries.
  • Manage plant-level inventories at optimal levels, balancing plant capacities to ensure service is not compromised for costs.
  • Ensure local logistics office reporting needs, including customized reports production.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, being compliant with established SLAs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or middle-grade studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of CHEP, negotiation, and commercial would be a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a Supply Chain environment, as well as stock management experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • SAP (or similar) and JDA.
  • Displays a sense of urgency and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical competencies to include: stock control levels, demand and forecast planning.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Autonomous, self-initiative, and results-driven.
  • MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good analytical skills.

Preferred Education: Degree and equivalent

Preferred Level of Work Experience: 1-3 years
