Job Description

At Importante Empresa, we are seeking a highly skilled CMOS Physical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the physical design of digital blocks and top-level designs for our image sensors.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement digital blocks and top-level designs for image sensors, from synthesis to GDS.
  • Define and implement padring, ensuring ESD and electromigration requirements are met.
  • Run static timing analysis, DFT, formal equivalence, IR drop, and static power analysis.
  • Ensure designs are robust and meet DFM requirements.
  • Collaborate with the CMOS Technical Design Leader, Layout Team, Frontend Digital Team, Analog Mixed Signal Design Team, Package Designer, and Foundry contact to ensure successful design implementation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or Physics, electronics specialty.
  • Good knowledge of CMOS digital design and flow.
  • Proficiency in Physical Digital Design tools for synthesis, STA, Power Analysis, IR Drop, and Physical verifications.
  • Knowledge of Hardware languages: Verilog and/or VHDL.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
