Job Title: DSP Process Development Senior Scientist

Robert Walters Spain is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our process development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of recombinant protein processes from lab scale to pilot scale manufacturing batches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute process development programs at lab scale and pilot scale manufacturing batches
  • Author required technical documentation (reports, batch record documents, SOPs, etc.)
  • Critically evaluate experimental results and suggest following activities
  • Prepare technical proposals for scale-up processes
  • Participate in lab management tasks
Requirements:
  • Background in Biomedical sciences / Pharma / Biotech
  • At least 5 years of experience in the biotechnology industry
  • Deep knowledge in protein purification and chromatography
  • Hands-on experience in FPLC chromatographic units and filtration (tangential flow filtration, depth filtrations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of GMP and ICH regulatory guidelines is a plus
  • Able to work in a cross-functional approach and independently with minimal supervision
