Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Tests Engineer to join our Testing Services team at Westinghouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading testing and maintenance activities for our clients' facilities, both in our Madrid Headquarters and onsite.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with experience in testing and maintenance of complex systems. You will be responsible for:
- Performing and supervising maintenance and inspection/testing activities
- Developing and writing result reports, procedures, and quality documentation
- Analyzing test results, performing calculations, and making improvement proposals
- Preparing technical tenders and managing testing equipment
- Participating in the continuous improvement process, including technology surveillance and self-training
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (electronics, instrumentation, etc. can be accepted)
- Fluency in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level)
- Strong technical interest, predisposition for multi-tasking, flexibility, and teamwork abilities
- Previous technical experience in industrial and nuclear fields (although not required, will be valued)
