International Grants Manager

VHIR is seeking an experienced International Grants Manager to join our Research Grants Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing grant budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsoring agency regulations.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage grant budgets and prepare financial reports and audits
- Monitor budget and anticipate possible deviations during project implementation
- Monitor projects' work plan, scientific reports, and implementation of grant agreements
- Ensure compliance with institutional and sponsoring agency regulations and policies
- Serve as liaison between researchers, funding agencies, and coordinators of collaborative projects
- University degree in Finance or Economics-related disciplines
- Fluency in English (business level)
- At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position in a scientific environment
- Proven experience and knowledge in financial management and reporting of international public and private competitive funding
- Previous experience in health/biomedical research environment
- Experience in European project coordination
- International work experience
- Knowledge and experience with Project Management tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
