Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Devsecops Engineer to join our team at ClearPeople. As a Devsecops Engineer, you will play a critical role in introducing cutting-edge processes, tools, and methodologies to balance needs throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- PowerShell Azure Management: Utilize PowerShell and Azure CLI to manage Azure resources and ensure secure and efficient infrastructure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement ARM Templates to automate infrastructure provisioning and ensure consistency across environments.
- Vulnerability Management: Identify web application vulnerabilities, prioritize countermeasures, consult on mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Azure DevOps Security Management: Improve existing automated vulnerability detection tools on Azure DevOps and collaborate with developers to address findings and minimize false positives.
- Microsoft SDL Integration: Lead proactive code reviews to pinpoint vulnerabilities and refine the Security Development Lifecycle into our engineering processes.
- Application Security Guidance: Offer specialized application security guidance on projects, system issues, and during stakeholder meetings.
- Monitoring and Audit: Assist in developing and maintaining an ongoing security assurance program, including development of appropriate scripts and monitoring capabilities to verify security effectiveness, analyze data, develop trend analysis, and ensure compliance to existing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in Devsecops, cloud security, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing and identifying web application vulnerabilities, strong technical acumen with Azure infrastructure security, Microsoft security, and core infrastructure components.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English B2 or equivalent level).
- Industry Standards and Practices: Provide guidance on relevant application security industry standards and practices such as ISO27001, OWASP, ASVS, CIS, SANS, CWE, etc.
- Agile/SCRUM Environment: Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Development Experience: Development experience with App Services (Web Apps and Function Apps) and other Azure resources like SQL or Redis.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BsC) or equivalent years of experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365, or Azure Certified Developer would be nice to have.
- Experience: Recent experience working in a digital agency, development consultancy, or similar environment.
