NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior Software & Systems Architect to be part of our Software Architecture division. This role involves exploring innovative technologies with an emphasis on defining the architecture for revolutionary advancements across various sectors, including networking, security, virtualization, and orchestration. You will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge solutions for data center networking and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the architectural vision for cloud networking and security solutions.
  • Design advanced system architectures for DPUs and NICs technologies.
  • Create comprehensive solutions that span from application layers to hardware.
  • Develop swift and innovative solutions for intricate challenges.
  • Author precise, clear, and dependable architecture specifications.
  • Assess emerging technologies and rapidly prototype proof-of-concept solutions that can evolve into complete products.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams at NVIDIA, including software and hardware architects, R&D, product managers, solution architects, application engineers, and field engineers.
  • Engage with high-profile clients on advanced technologies and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 4 years of experience as a Software Architect or Systems Architect.
  • More than 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Profound knowledge and expertise in C and Python programming languages.
  • Practical experience in Linux development.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts.
  • Extensive understanding of networking protocols and common network architectures.
  • Strong skills in design, coding, analysis, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams both locally and internationally.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing networking and security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems and drivers.
  • Background in data center technologies, network architectures, and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with DPDK, OVS, and OVN.
  • Experience with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes components and subsystems.
