NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior Software & Systems Architect to become a key member of our Software Architecture division. This role encompasses the exploration of innovative technologies with an emphasis on defining the architecture for revolutionary advancements across various sectors, including networking, security, virtualization, and orchestration. You will be instrumental in developing state-of-the-art solutions for datacenter networking and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the architectural design for cloud networking and security solutions.
  • Create advanced system architectures for DPUs and NICs technologies.
  • Develop comprehensive solutions that span from application layers to hardware.
  • Generate quick and innovative solutions for intricate challenges.
  • Responsible for drafting precise, clear, and dependable architecture specifications.
  • Assess emerging technologies and rapidly create proof-of-concept prototypes that can evolve into complete products or solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with diverse teams at NVIDIA, including software and hardware architects, R&D, product management, solution architects, application engineers, and field engineers.
  • Engage with high-profile clients on advanced and future-oriented technologies and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Over 4 years of experience as a Software Architect or Systems Architect.
  • More than 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Profound knowledge and experience with C and Python programming languages.
  • Practical experience in Linux development.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking protocols and standard network topologies.
  • Strong skills in design, coding, analysis, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams both locally and internationally.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing networking and security devices such as NICs, DPUs, switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems and drivers.
  • Background in data center technologies, network topologies, and cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with DPDK, OVS, and OVN.
  • Experience with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes components and subsystems.
