Job Summary:

Wright Tree Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our utility tree care crews, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects, and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of General Forepersons and their crews, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to manage employee relations, including hiring, discipline, and separation of employment.
  • Conduct regular safety training and coaching sessions to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
  • Manage daily production-related tasks, including tracking crew performance, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular reports to management.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, property owners, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the arboriculture or utility industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing teams, improving safety performance, and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Valid driver's license, medical card, and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • ISA Certification and herbicide applicator or operator's certification a plus.
