Job Summary:

Wright Tree Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our operations team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our crew members, ensuring the successful completion of projects, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Manage Crew Members: Directly supervise and manage a team of crew members, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and meeting customer expectations.
  • Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all crew members follow safety protocols and company policies, and that all work is performed in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Performance Management: Evaluate the performance of crew members, providing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to crew members, helping them to advance their careers and improve their job performance.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on project progress, crew performance, and other relevant metrics, and perform administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Management Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong track record of success in supervising and developing crew members.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the arboriculture industry, including tree care operations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, crew members, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and experience with other relevant software and systems.
  • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, management, or a related field, and relevant certifications, such as ISA certification.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and snow. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, and be able to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
