As a Payment Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in managing and streamlining the payment process, optimizing fund movement and reconciliation across global accounts, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and match incoming payments against customer requests
- Reconcile accounting entries for our Global accounts
- Conduct daily follow-up with unsolved processing issues
- Support the Americas desk as needed
- Understand process flow of payment partners and control settlements from our partners
- Payer Know Your Customer (KYC) verification
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback to inform decision-making
- 1-2 years of experience in the Banking/Payments industry
- Fluency in English (required); other languages are a plus
- An appetite for continuous learning and completing work independently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a professional, office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build processes and identify inefficiencies and potential risks
- Working knowledge of Excel, online tools (Google Apps, Salesforce, etc.)
