We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Nordex Group. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for our wind turbine control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Software Development: Design and develop software solutions for our wind turbine control systems, ensuring optimal execution and modularity.
- Requirements Management: Coordinate with mechanical and electrical departments to clarify system functionalities and software specifications.
- Proof of Concepts: Develop and qualify new ideas, and analyze field data to define optimized functionality.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Define acceptance tests for HIL and field tests, and support the wind turbine control end-to-end process.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in PLC programming and industrial communication protocols.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of abstract and modularized thinking, good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, and experience with version control systems like SVN or Git.
- Language: Excellent written and spoken English, with proficiency in German or Spanish a plus.
- Personal Qualities: Strong communication skills, assertiveness, organizational talent, and intercultural competence.
