Cybersecurity Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Network Protection Engineer with a focus on VPN technologies (including Site-to-Site and User VPN) to enhance our global operations. The successful candidate will take charge of designing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's VPN systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and sustain a secure network framework, emphasizing Cisco and F5 security solutions, such as Cisco ASA, Firepower, and F5 APM for secure access and authentication. Work collaboratively with various teams within AXA Group Operations Network Global Product Security and Network Service Product Line to ensure that network security measures align with business goals and industry standards. Produce High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and operational guidelines for network security solutions, aiding in knowledge transfer and the development of level 2 support capabilities within a global team setting. Perform risk evaluations and security assessments to uncover vulnerabilities and implement suitable measures related to Cisco and F5 technologies. Oversee network performance and security, resolve issues, and provide prompt solutions associated with Cisco and F5 deployments. Create and maintain thorough documentation concerning network security architecture and procedures, focusing on Cisco and F5 technologies. Leverage development skills for data automation, controls, and monitoring to improve network security and operational effectiveness. Candidate Profile:Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructures, with a strong emphasis on Cisco and F5 security solutions, including Cisco ASA, Firepower, and F5 APM. In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and standards, particularly in relation to Cisco and F5 technologies. Proficiency in network and security tools specific to Cisco and F5, such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and access control solutions. Familiarity with DNS and F5 Global Traffic Manager (GTM) is advantageous. Desirable knowledge of Palo Alto Networks security solutions. Understanding of Cloud, cloud proxy, and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) is preferred. Experience with Cisco ISE for network access control and posture is a plus. Development skills for data automation, controls, and monitoring. Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. Proficient English language skills for effective communication in a global team context. Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, F5-CTS, or equivalent are advantageous.
