Portfolio Manager for Private Equity and M&A

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to join our Private Equity and M&A division. This role is integral to our operations and will focus on managing a diverse portfolio of high-priority accounts.
ROLE SUMMARY
In this capacity, you will oversee a portfolio of intricate priority accounts, aiming to enhance growth, profitability, and client satisfaction. The Portfolio Manager serves as the main contact for daily interactions with various complex accounts, ensuring effective communication and fostering robust client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Align client objectives with Marsh McLennan's resources, acting as a trusted advisor; Contribute significantly to new business initiatives, broadening the spectrum of products and services offered to clients; Gain exposure to a wide array of external Private Capital clients and cultivate key relationships with business leaders within Marsh McLennan.Benefits of Joining Us:

Establishing and nurturing relationships with private capital investment firms and their portfolio companies, serving as a trusted advisor; Acting as the primary point of contact for daily communications with numerous complex accounts, managing follow-ups and correspondence; Conducting in-depth analyses of client businesses through research, benchmarking studies, and risk assessments; Supporting colleagues by managing day-to-day operations for designated accounts, including transactional tasks and coordination of schedules; Addressing account concerns and resolving issues promptly, using sound judgment to escalate matters when necessary; Gathering insights on client satisfaction and reporting findings to senior management, providing context and recommendations for retention; Building relationships with professional counterparts both internally and externally; Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the company's service offerings and market trends to enhance performance and develop sales skills.Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the financial services or insurance sector; Strong analytical and research capabilities, with proficiency in conducting comprehensive client and industry analyses; Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to foster strong client relationships; Proficient in English, both written and verbal; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively; Problem-solving aptitude, with the capacity to handle complex issues efficiently; Familiarity with financial services and insurance industry trends and products; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.Preferred Attributes:
