About the Role

This position is part of our Private Equity and M&A team at Marsh McLennan, a leading global professional services firm. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex priority accounts, driving growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align client strategies and needs with our capabilities and resources, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Play a key role in new business development, expanding and diversifying the range of our products and services held by clients.
  • Gain exposure to a large portfolio of external Private Capital clients and develop key relationships with business leaders within Marsh McLennan.

Requirements
  • Several years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry or a related role (at least 5-6 years).
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth client and industry analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to address small and complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of financial services and insurance industry trends and products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a fund administrator company.
  • Knowledge of M&A and portfolio company workstreams.
  • Professional network within the private capital industry.
