About Belmonte Group

Belmonte Group is a multinational organization seeking a highly skilled EMEA Operations Director for the Industrial Sector. This is a key leadership role that will drive the development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet the current and future needs of the department and the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Engineering Team

The Director of Operations will lead the engineering team to create new products for future manufacture, driving innovation and growth within the organization.

  • Oversee Daily Workflow

The Director will oversee the daily workflow of the R&D department, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient use of resources.

  • Performance Evaluations

The Director will provide constructive and timely performance evaluations, helping team members to grow and develop within their roles.

  • Strategic Direction

The Director will establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization's operations division, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals.

  • Collaboration and Leadership

The Director will collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals, providing expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.

  • Process Improvement

The Director will identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.

  • Project Planning

The Director will ensure that project plans, such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities, are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.

  • Operations Policies

The Director will establish, communicate, and implement operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.

  • Cost Control

The Director will review and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.

  • Budget Administration

The Director will establish and administer the R&D department's budget, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation.

  • Performance Reporting

The Director will present periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership, providing insights into the organization's operations and progress towards goals.

  • Knowledge and Training

The Director will maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management, identifying training needs and ensuring proper training is developed and provided.

  • Additional Responsibilities

The Director will perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Requirements

  • Education

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other industry-related field is required.

  • Experience

At least 10 years of industry-related experience is required.
