Computational Linguist

Quantion is a Business Digital Transformation services company that accelerates digital transformation projects with an end-to-end approach. We are looking for a skilled Computational Linguist to participate in one of our biggest International projects.

• Develop and customize high-performance Natural Language Understanding (NLU) modules for the Chat Assistant.
• Apply a data-driven methodology to identify challenges and construct solutions in conversational AI and content moderation.
• Design reusable features that encapsulate novel functionalities for the Chat Assistant.
• Enhance the Chat Assistant's architecture and optimize existing tasks.
• Design and implement new NLU-specific use cases for the Chat Assistant.
• Advance the NLU architecture of the Chat Assistant.

• University degree or Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education (HF) with a specialization in Computational Linguistics, Data Science, Text Analytics, Language Technologies, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in the Natural Language Processing (NLP) domain.
• Hands-on experience with real-time conversational AI, such as dialogue and voice systems.
• Proficiency with one or more AI/NLP platforms, such as Cognigy, DialogFlow, Rasa, LUIS, Microsoft Bot Framework, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of state-of-the-art conversational AI systems.
• Ability to research Machine Learning (ML) frameworks and technologies and apply them in working prototypes.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: Python, JavaScript, or Node.Js.
• Experience in training dialogue systems using historical chat conversations or large volumes of user-generated content.
• Practical knowledge of formal syntax, formal semantics, corpus analysis, and dialogue management.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
