Position Summary
The Senior Specialist in Artist Management plays a pivotal role in collaborating with Studio, Artistic, and Production leadership to address the needs of our projects and crew. This position serves as a primary liaison for the artistic team, ensuring effective communication and support across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Supervisors and Production leadership to manage staffing strategies across projects, ensuring timely communication regarding crew assignments and transitions.
- Act as a key resource for artists and production team members, providing day-to-day support and guidance related to performance and professional development.
- Identify and recommend new technologies and workflows to enhance crew transitions and facilitate communication with relevant departments.
- Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition to address upcoming staffing needs, including internal vacancies and promotions.
- Coordinate with the HR Operations team to ensure accurate reflection of transfers, adjustments, and promotions in internal systems.
- Engage with the Learning team to communicate crew and departmental training needs.
- Assist the Artist Management Supervisor in overseeing the annual performance assessment process and individual performance matters.
- Participate in regular meetings with production and artistic leadership to support the studio and crew.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the studio.
- Stay updated on current artistic methodologies and technological trends that enhance the creative and technical landscape of the company.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, contributing to their artistic and professional growth.
- Adhere to the guidance provided by Supervisors and Leads.
- Willingness to travel as necessary (10% or less).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Human Resources or a related field (Psychology, Sociology, or Coaching fundamentals are highly valued).
- 5+ years of experience in HR/Talent Development or as an HR Business Partner.
- Experience in the VFX or animation sectors is advantageous.
- Expertise in talent and leadership development.
- Exceptional project and process management capabilities.
- Proficient in both English and Spanish.
