About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Louvre Hotels Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for controlling and coordinating the accounts of several Group companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the production of accurate and timely financial statements, including the communication of closing options to external parties and the monitoring of audits.
- You will also be responsible for supervising monthly and quarterly accounting closures, analyzing consolidated management reports, and optimizing financial and accounting processes.
- As part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, you will be responsible for ensuring statutory accounts are issued on time, guaranteeing statutory accounting and compliance with Group processes, and coordinating with stakeholders.
- You will act as the point of reference for accounting and tax instructions with other Group entities and various partners, and provide technical expertise on accounting and financial projects.
- You will also contribute to financial and operational due diligence, carry out analytical work in support of consolidation, and coordinate the production of quarterly consolidation reports.
- Additionally, you will supervise monthly closings, analyze bank reconciliation amounts, and ensure that fixed assets are monitored in the accounts.
- You will also help optimize accounting organization and improve accounting processes for French and local Regional Offices and hotels.
Requirements
- You will have at least 5 years' significant initial experience in an accountancy and/or auditing firm.
- You have developed an ability to understand business issues and financial flows so that you can translate them into accounting processes.
- You will be able to make proposals and have a recognized ability to analyze and summarize.
- You are looking for a new challenge within a dynamic and fast-growing international group.
- You have good interpersonal skills, good writing/presentation skills, and are rigorous, autonomous, and organized.
- You are a good communicator, have excellent interpersonal skills, and team spirit, and are flexible and adaptable.
- You have the ability to analyze and summarize, are proactive, creative, and curious, and have expertise in Excel (pivot tables) and Oracle BFC/Magnitude.
- You have advanced English language skills (B2 to C1 level).
