Senior Reliability Engineer, Route Cause Analysis

This exciting opportunity as a Senior Reliability Engineer, Route Cause Analysis, presents a chance to make a significant impact by building capability within the organization to eliminate defects and improve learning from incidents. The role involves ensuring proactive Route Cause Analysis studies based on common theme analysis across all Sabic sites to establish a high-reliability organization.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate efficient and effective Route Cause Analysis sessions
- Coach and mentor the Route Cause Analysis team, effectively managing their roles and responsibilities, and required resources
- Ensure quality Route Cause Analysis and follow-up on recommendations and gap closure plans
- Report status of Route Cause Analysis recommendations to the Leadership team and globally
- Closely cooperate and engage with different departments across Sabic
- Bachelor and/or Master's Degree or Equivalent in Process Engineering, along with several years of experience in the chemical industry (ideally in Germany)
- Excellent Conceptual, Communication, and Analytical Skills
- Fluency in German and English
- Minimum 3+ years Industrial Route Cause Analysis experience and/or similar position(s)
- Excellent presentation and network skills
- Proficiency in IT and various connecting IT systems
- Experience working in a multicultural and diverse environment
