Job Summary:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing on-site installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment, as well as providing telephone support to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering, electrical, mechanical, or electronics, and experience in the medical equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, repair, and maintain medical equipment at customer sites.
  2. Provide technical support to customers via phone and on-site visits.
  3. Keep accurate records of service activities and report to management.
  4. Manage stock of spare parts and coordinate inventory control.
  5. Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
  6. Collaborate with applications and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of technical field service experience in the medical equipment industry.
  3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  4. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (70 Kg) with assistance.
  5. Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Working Conditions:

  1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to customer sites.
  2. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  3. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
