Electrical Discipline Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Discipline Engineer to provide specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations, and maintenance at Dow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing Most Effective Technology (MET), work processes, tools, and industry best practices within your discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure drawings and specifications are clear and meet the needs of the business.
- Review and approve drawings and specifications in a timely manner, ensuring they are followed by fabricators, constructors, and maintenance contractors.
- Lead activities within the discipline, with accountability for results, implementation, and adherence to relevant work processes and best practices.
- Drive front-end loading to ensure clear scope definition, establish plans and schedules, and enable adequate control during execution.
- Direct activities within the discipline, coordinate with other disciplines, and lead the completion of deliverables provided to estimating and planning.
- Develop and implement value engineering and economic designs to ensure the best value is delivered to the business.
- Ensure safety in design, operation, and maintenance.
- Electrical Engineer and a Master's Degree.
- English language written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry and/or engineering service companies.
- Ability to interface effectively with field electricians, construction contractors, other disciplines, team members, and key stakeholders.
- Understanding of the principles of different electrical technologies.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and transfer information into electrical designs.
