We are seeking an Electrical Discipline Engineer to provide specialized technical support and solutions for project teams, operations, and maintenance at Dow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing Most Effective Technology (MET), work processes, tools, and industry best practices within your discipline.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure drawings and specifications are clear and meet the needs of the business.
- Review and approve drawings and specifications in a timely manner, ensuring they are followed by fabricators, constructors, and maintenance contractors.
- Lead activities within the discipline, coordinating with other disciplines as needed.
- Drive front-end loading to ensure clear scope definition, establish plans and schedules, and enable adequate control during execution.
- Direct activities within the discipline, ensuring safety in design, operation, and maintenance.
- Electrical Engineer degree and a Master's degree.
- English language written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry and/or engineering service companies.
- Ability to interface effectively with field electricians, construction contractors, other disciplines, and team members.
- Understanding of the principles of different electrical technologies.
