About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at Approach People Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance
- Evaluate and mitigate cybersecurity risks to ensure the organization's assets and data are protected.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security regulations and standards, including ISO 27001 and NIS2 Directive.
- Network and Systems Security Monitoring
- Monitor IT infrastructure for threats and vulnerabilities, and implement security measures to prevent breaches.
- Implement security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and malware detection systems.
- Security Planning and Strategy
- Develop and update security policies and procedures to ensure the organization's security posture is aligned with industry best practices.
- Define the organization's long-term security strategy, including incident response and business continuity planning.
- Security Incident Response
- Coordinate and monitor the response to security incidents, including investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
- Minimize the impact of security incidents and restore normalcy as soon as possible.
- Education and Awareness
- Train staff in secure IT practices and raise awareness of the importance of security throughout the organization.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and promote security best practices.
- Collaboration with Other Departments
- Work with development, operations, and other teams to integrate security into business processes.
- Collaborate with the legal team on privacy and compliance issues.
- Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a senior security management role.
- Demonstrable track record of developing and implementing security strategies and frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to infrastructure security.
- Knowledge and experience of ETSI technical standards and ISO standards related to information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
Language Skills
Proficiency in English and French is required.
