Job Summary

As an Enterprise Project Manager at Canonical, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our open source initiatives. We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including software engineering, sales, and customer success
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary

Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience leading cross-cultural, remote, and global project teams, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with working in a distributed environment
  • Ability to think strategically, with a deep understanding of the business and its objectives
