About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance Team at Expedia, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support on strategic projects to drive growth and adoption of our Lodging supply and Media Solutions products.
  • Participate in a variety of strategic projects, distilling complex financial data into impactful and actionable commercial insights.
  • Proactively partner with business stakeholders to better understand risks and opportunities, analyzing business trends and investigating variances versus expectations.
  • Develop financial business cases to support investment decisions, contributing to the broader team's cross-functional deliverables.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science) or equivalent related professional experience.
  • 2/3+ years of relevant experience, with a high level of intellectual curiosity and a sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, results-driven, and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small.
  • Well-organized, very independent, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects within challenging timelines.
  • Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences to drive better decision-making.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, highly proficient with SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and willing to learn Tableau and Python.
