About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Manager to join our team in Valencia, Spain. As a key member of our Management Team, you will be responsible for establishing and managing the Financial System and Management Accounting function for Intrepid West Europe.

You will provide financial and commercial support to our teams across the region and work with our Shared Service center in Marrakech to deliver on transactional finance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage the Financial System and Management Accounting function for Intrepid West Europe
  • Provide financial and commercial support to our teams across the region
  • Work with the Shared Service center in Marrakech to deliver on transactional finance tasks
  • Contribute to the overall direction of Intrepid West Europe as part of its Management Team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 5+ years' experience in a Finance role with strong compliance and commercial acumen
  • Experience and knowledge of complex accounting packages, business performance reporting & planning
  • Experience in strategy development and implementation
  • Practical general finance and accounting experience in Spain and knowledge of finance and accounting in other European countries within West Europe (mainly Italy, France, Portugal)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (other languages also advantageous)
