Rovio, a leading mobile game developer, is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to join its Stockholm studio. As a key member of the Angry Birds 2 team, you will be responsible for driving the development and growth of this highly successful game.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of F2P live-ops, economy, and game design, with a proven track record of crafting features that drive increases to retention, engagement, and monetization. Experience with defining strategy and translating overall strategy into a roadmap that creates product growth is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prioritize, and run feature development efforts for Angry Birds 2, ensuring an outstanding player experience.
- Drive improvements to business performance for both new and existing features, leveraging knowledge of engagement & monetization mechanics, player behavior, and F2P game design.
- Analyze game metrics and proactively identify and implement optimizations to improve the player experience and core financial performance.
- Support the Game Lead in providing input on the strategic direction for Angry Birds 2 overall.
- Lead the A/B testing process, helping to validate hypotheses and translate results into actions that steer the game in the right direction.
- Bring an outside-in view and deep market expertise by benchmarking competitors and identifying new & promising practices from leading games in the market.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Product Manager with live F2P mobile titles.
- Deep understanding of F2P live-ops, economy, and game design, with a willingness to learn about Angry Birds players.
- Track record of crafting F2P features that drive increases to retention, engagement, and monetization.
- Experience in tuning and balancing live-ops features to drive sustainable long-term performance.
- Strong analytical capabilities paired with the drive to analyze game data with the assistance of game analysts.
