About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Cook to join our pre-opening team at the Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our guests, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, and contributing to the overall success of our resort.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare food items of consistent quality according to guest orders, following recipe, production, portion, and presentation standards.
- Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including food processors, mixers, and ovens.
- Maintain a clean and efficient station, adhering to health codes and safety protocols.
- Label and date all food containers, rotating stock as per policies.
- Determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up.
- Return all food items not used to designated storage areas.
- Manage and prioritize tasks by shift, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Trade apprenticeship or other form of registered training in the culinary discipline.
- Minimum two years of culinary experience in a luxury restaurant or similar setting.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and culinary operations.
- Ability to lift up to 30Kg and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Spanish.
- Legal right to work in Spain and fluency in English and Spanish.
