Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Pricing and Tender Supervisor for the IBERIA region, the Pricing & Tender Intern will assist the Iberia Pricing & Tender Department (P&T), which oversees pricing strategies and the preparation and submission of proposals and tenders for both public and private sector opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support administrative functions within the Tender Office to facilitate the preparation and submission of public procurement proposals;
- Monitor public channels for new tender announcements;
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to comprehend strategic objectives and the solutions or services being offered;
- Manage document archiving and storage;
- Address inquiries from both internal and external customers;
- Engage in pricing activities, including the review of price approvals, maintenance of price books, and updates of list and customer prices in SAP;
- Utilize internal and external resources daily to ensure the production and submission of high-quality commercial agreements within required timelines, aligning with corporate goals, procedures, and policies while fostering effective interdepartmental relationships;
- Report on activities to the P&T Supervisor;
- Perform additional tasks related to Tender Office operations based on individual background and experience.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Law, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Fluency in Spanish (knowledge of English and/or Portuguese is advantageous);
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Able to work under tight deadlines;
- Capable of multitasking effectively;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities;
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
