About the RoleAs a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for driving our data science strategy and helping us better understand and retain our players. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and tech teams to provide data-driven insights and tools that elevate their work and goals. As a senior member of our team, you will be expected to work autonomously, prioritizing your goals based on effort and impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement advanced data models and algorithms to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their KPIs and modeling requirements, drive implementation, and support data-driven decision making.
- Build and maintain predictive models for revenue/profit forecasting, player behavior, and game balancing across multiple dimensions.
- Develop clear and concise data visualizations and reports for various stakeholders to effectively communicate key findings and recommendations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, helping them grow professionally and contribute to the team's success.
- 5+ years of experience in data science in mobile gaming, with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data modeling systems.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and data visualization tools such as Looker, Datastudio, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Demonstrated experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning and deep learning frameworks.
- Ability to understand business needs across multiple teams and execute to achieve their targets.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights.
- A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming industry and player behavior.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
