Overview: The primary objective of this role is to support the execution of the strategic growth initiatives within the energy sector by overseeing and managing M&A activities across various regions.
- Direct and oversee the acquisition processes for energy-related projects.
- Manage and coordinate the execution of transactions upon successful bid award.
- Engage in negotiations for purchase agreements in collaboration with the legal team.
- Act as a liaison for the financing team, aiding and coordinating the Due Diligence process.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to contractual obligations until the transaction is finalized.
- Facilitate communication among departments throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with further finance training) and a strong understanding of project finance.
- A Master's Degree in Finance or an MBA from a reputable institution or CFA designation is advantageous.
- Proven experience in M&A transactions within the infrastructure sector, particularly with intricate financing arrangements.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in similar positions.
