Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Pathways For Children, Inc. as a Research Engineer - AI4S - LLMs for Chip Design (RE2). This position will be located at our state-of-the-art facility and will involve working at the intersection of computer hardware and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of task-specific applications of AI models for chip design purposes
  • Lead the data gathering and pre-processing pipelines for AI model training
  • Design and train AI models for chip design and validation processes
  • Implement reliable, reproducible, and automated training and evaluation methodologies
  • Document and disseminate the work done

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in STEM
  • Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience:
    • Experience in a research-oriented position (1 year minimum)
    • Experience in writing scientific papers (1 paper minimum)
    • Experience in tensor networks (6 months minimum)
    • Experience in optimization problems (6 months minimum)
  • Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience:
    • Fluent English and Spanish are a must
    • Catalan is desirable
    • Mathematical background is desirable
