Position Overview

Fabletics is a leading global provider of integrated operations and services for some of the most rapidly expanding online fashion brands. We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Tax Manager for Europe to join our dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Finance, Accounting, and Tax departments across both the EU and US. Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Overseeing VAT preparation and compliance across European and UK markets.
  • Managing both direct and indirect tax audits.
  • Monitoring tax deadlines and ensuring timely filings of corporate tax returns.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end tax-related activities.
  • Serving as a vital member of our global tax team, you will also engage with cross-functional teams to enhance the integration of financial systems.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who possesses strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a genuine desire to tackle challenges and expand their knowledge. The aim is to deliver high-quality work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with local finance teams to manage VAT, OSS, and Intrastat filings across all European and UK jurisdictions.
  • Partnering with accounting teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of tax-related balance sheet accounts.
  • Coordinating annual Corporate Income and Trade Tax reporting with external advisors.
  • Supporting the Global Tax Team in preparing foreign tax provisions for quarterly and year-end reporting.
  • Working with third-party advisors to document local transfer pricing in line with OECD guidelines.
  • Managing tax audits conducted by EU and UK government agencies alongside external advisors.
  • Collaborating with counterparts in the EU and US on tax strategies and matters.
  • Documenting work in compliance with internal audit guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of VAT regulations.
  • A solid educational background in Taxation, preferably with a degree focused on this area.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional languages such as German or Spanish being advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
