Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the high standards of GMP, HSE, environmental protection, and good working practices in the radiopharmaceutical quality control process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt and storage of raw materials and production materials.
- Ensure the correct order and cleaning of cabinets and refrigerators for storage of reagents, standards, raw materials, and production materials.
- Support the head of Quality Control in the execution of various activities, including preparation of standards and reagents, micro-biological monitoring of pharmaceutical facilities, and management of counter-samples and dispatch of samples to external companies.
- Perform quality controls of different radiopharmaceuticals and manage analytical techniques such as HPLC, gas chromatography, TLC, pH-meter, activity meter, and method of detection of endotoxins.
- Collaborate in the implementation and revalidation of quality control processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Radiation safety education and strong affinity with and awareness of quality issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and understand the sense of urgency around given tasks.
- Fluent Spanish and English, written and spoken.
