Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineering Supervisor will oversee the coordination and execution of maintenance tasks in the Maintenance Department. This role requires strong technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute maintenance tasks to identify and rectify technical-related troubles and failures.
- Manage maintenance personnel and ensure they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Licensure as a Mechanical Engineer is an advantage.
- At least five years of experience in an Oleochemical plant or related industry, with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of utilities operation, including pumps, steam boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, water, and wastewater treatment.
- Computer literacy in MS Office and general knowledge of AutoCAD for engineering drawings.
- Good moral character and values.
