We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our finance team as a Financial Operations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the company's values and culture by delivering exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Generate billing invoices and statements for various accounts, including direct bill accounts and group reservations.
- Process payments received and manage billing for tour and travel accounts.
- Address guest credit requests and inquiries, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Maintain organized records of outstanding receivables and paid invoices.
- Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure timely posting.
- Investigate and respond to inquiries from credit card companies regarding chargebacks.
- Review guest accounts to determine necessary credits or billing adjustments.
- Prepare requests for refunds and manage credit balance transactions.
- Assist in the daily preparation and reconciliation of accounts receivable reports.
- Handle disputed charges and work towards resolution, providing necessary documentation.
- Contribute to the preparation of aging reports for review by senior management.
- Support the Credit Manager in collection efforts for overdue accounts.
- Participate in departmental meetings to stay informed about hotel operations and updates.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
