Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Bunge. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will provide proactive and strategic HR support to our sites in Spain, working closely with our HR Partner Commercials & Corporate Support Functions and Chief People Officer to ensure that HR provision is customer-centric and focused on supporting and driving the successful delivery of business goals and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR plans for each facility, working closely with site leaders and HR colleagues.
  • Drive and support performance management across the sites, including coaching line managers to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Provide general advice to employees, ensuring that they are able to deliver their business objectives through their people.
  • Produce monthly reports by site and other reports as required, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Liaise with external support, including training providers and occupational health services.
  • Attend HR and other meetings, ensuring that HR initiatives are aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure the implementation of group-wide/strategic initiatives, reinforcing safety expectations and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of a safety culture, ensuring that HR activities are aligned with this goal.

    Employee Relations:

    • Undertake disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with employment law guidelines and company policy.
    • Manage redundancies and restructures, including supporting acquisition and merger activity.
    • Use absence data to work with line managers, ensuring that absence levels are managed effectively.
    • Responsible for employee involvement forums, ensuring that employee voices are heard and valued.
    • Deliver site-specific employee engagement levels, ensuring that employees are engaged and motivated.

      Recruitment:

      • Manage recruitment processes, working closely with line managers and HR colleagues to ensure that recruitment is fair and effective.
      • Undertake interviewing with line managers, ensuring that recruitment processes test the knowledge and skills of candidates.
      • Liaise with line managers and HR colleagues to ensure that induction schedules are prepared and delivered for all new starters.

        Training:

        • Work with line managers to review training requirements, ensuring that employees have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver business objectives.
        • Develop and deliver local training, ensuring that employees are equipped to meet business needs.
        • Support the roll-out of new training initiatives, ensuring that employees are engaged and motivated.

          Requirements & Experience:

          • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, or professional qualification.
          • AEDIPE member.
          • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
          • +/- 5 years of experience in Human Resources and in a multi-site role.
          • Experienced in a logistics, manufacturing, or automotive environment will be a plus.
          • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, good commercial acumen, and sense of urgency.
          • Attention to detail, resilient, and determined, with a positive attitude to challenges.
          • Able to demonstrate implementation and maintenance of HR initiatives.
          • Experience of change management and managing employee forums.
          • Willingness to travel as needed (50% of your time).
