Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our team at The Cigna Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the coordination and governance of products/assets in our clinical strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead overall clinical portfolio schedule and progress, partnering with market business lead on issues and mitigation plans.
  • Lead communication and change efforts across all project teams, ensuring a single point of truth for overall status reporting.
  • Proactively identify and escalate portfolio issues & risks, facilitating the development of mitigation plans.
  • Provide information and analysis to drive decision-making and support business operations for internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate and partner with the business to design new and improved business processes aligned to future strategies.
  • Drive innovation and consider all possibilities to move beyond current thought processes, assessing impacts and providing solutions or direction.
  • Provide risk assessment and mitigation for escalation and decision-making, identifying and removing barriers to successful attainment of quality and delivery goals.
  • Lead project/program governance to ensure aligned delivery.

  • Proven experience in portfolio management, with a focus on clinical strategy and execution.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive business operations and support decision-making.
