Destinus is a pioneering aerospace technology company that's redefining the future of logistics and supply chain management. We're building a near-space vehicle and infrastructure that will revolutionize the way goods are transported around the world. As a highly skilled Lawyer, you'll join our in-house legal team in Spain and play a critical role in shaping the company's growth and success.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide expert legal advice and support to Destinus business, ensuring compliance with national and international laws and regulations.
* Anticipate and identify potential legal issues, developing effective solutions to mitigate risks.
* Review, draft, and negotiate various legal documents, including NDAs, consulting agreements, employment contracts, and procurement documents.
* Collaborate with the procurement, sales, and engineering teams to ensure contract negotiations are smooth and successful.
* Work closely with the product development team to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
* Manage corporate governance and secretarial responsibilities, including filing and maintaining business and company registrations in Spain.
* Provide advice on compliance, including data protection and privacy regulations.
* Ensure Destinus policies are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
* Proactively manage claims and disputes arising from Destinus business, ensuring swift resolution to mitigate costs.
* Support the legal team in other locations.
**Requirements:**
* A law degree and at least 5 years of experience working as a lawyer and compliance specialist, preferably in the industry sector or a law firm focusing on commercial laws.
* Strong drafting, negotiating, and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English (French and/or German would be a plus).
