About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Validation and Verification (V&V) team at FLIR, Madrid, Spain. The ideal candidate has a strong background in V&V processes, particularly within the realm of cameras, sensors, or related products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the V&V team to ensure that our cameras and sensors meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive V&V strategies, managing the V&V team, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that products function as intended.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
Requirements
  • Advanced Test Automation and Scripting: Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks, with the ability to lead the development of automated test scripts using programming languages like Python and Java.
  • Network Protocols and Debugging: In-depth knowledge of network protocols and extensive experience with network analysis tools like Wireshark.
  • Video Management Software (VMS) Integration: Strong background in integrating and testing video streaming solutions with VMS platforms.
  • Leadership in SDLC and Risk-Based Testing: Comprehensive understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, with the ability to implement and oversee risk-based testing techniques.
