About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy high-availability, low-latency, and scalable backend services hosted in the AWS cloud. As a key member of our autonomous cross-functional team, you'll collaborate closely with other engineers and take operational responsibility for the services owned by your team.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers and become a valued member of an autonomous cross-functional team.
  • Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a Backend Software Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with Django / Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable with tackling very loosely defined problems and thriving in a team with autonomy in day-to-day decisions.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining production-grade software.
  • Great team player.
