Role Overview:
This position is accountable for overseeing the financial aspects within the designated cluster. The individual will engage closely with the Manager of Business Services to furnish all necessary insights and documentation required to assist in a collaborative partnership with the Director of Operations Cluster and the Director of Commercial Cluster to enhance overall cluster performance.
In addition to financial responsibilities, this role encompasses managing procurement transactional activities within the cluster and providing support for HR-related functions as needed.
As the financial authority within the Business Services Team, this position plays a crucial role in various cluster performance initiatives, including the development of the cluster budget, product costing, establishing CAPEX limits, and monitoring and reporting on investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and deliver product cost planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Oversee and coordinate the inventory accounting process with Operations.
- Establish and present the cluster budget and forecasts.
- Conduct period-end closing analysis and reporting.
- Manage the complete CAPEX process, including financial justification calculations and post-investment reviews.
- Assist HR specialists within the cluster as required.
- Generate and request purchase orders for necessary goods and services within the cluster.
- Negotiate supplier contracts for minor value purchases, ensuring compliance with Sibelco's procurement policies and procedures.
