Job Summary

Skydance Animation is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager - Feature Animation to join our team. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for implementing and managing ShotGrid, our production management tool, to ensure seamless collaboration and data management across our feature animation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage ShotGrid requests from production and supervisors, ensuring timely and efficient implementation of production workflows.
  • Collaborate with the Production Technology team to develop and implement standardized workflows and best practices for ShotGrid.
  • Work closely with film production teams and studio management to develop and maintain ShotGrid templates and fields for tracking and reporting.
  • Develop high-level views of data for forecasting and pulling data from ShotGrid for production teams and studio leadership.
  • Document new features and maintain existing documentation for production workflows as they relate to ShotGrid.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to ensure all team members are proficient with ShotGrid, enhancing overall team capability and project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., film production, computer science, or a related field).
  • Strong understanding of feature film production workflows and ShotGrid implementation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
