About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). As a Researcher, you will be responsible for leading activities in the development of numerical tools, turbulence models, multi-physics algorithms, data-driven methodologies, and large-scale industrial simulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in GPU activities carried out by BSC in the LS/CFD team
  • Interact with collaborators for collaborative research
  • Research on GPU porting of dynamic adaptive mesh refinement techniques of CFD codes
  • Contribute to scientific paper publications
  • Research on ML integration for CFD codes for mesh adaptive refinement
  • Lead the meshing activities in the LS/CFD group

Requirements:

  • Education: PhD in HPC methods for CFD or mesh generation
  • Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience:
    • Experience developing in-house CFD codes
    • Experience using large scale HPC facilities
    • Experience in GPU accelerators
