Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial oversight and leadership to our businesses in the country, contributing to results optimization through analysis, procedure implementation, and risk management.

Key Accountabilities
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements and corporate reporting for headquarters on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and local requirements.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the financial department and cash-flow.
  • Manage financial audits and produce recommendations for procedure improvement.
  • Lead implementation of corporate procedures in the affiliate.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls and safeguards.
  • Identify risk (taxes, accounting, etc.) and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Supervise payroll processing, hiring, and dismissal of personnel, and management of personnel training records.
Finance Business Partner
  • Provide financial and business analysis to support all activities and projects in the country, ensuring adequate monitoring and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct profitability analysis, pricing, and margins analysis.
  • Support General Manager and Department Directors in taking commercial decisions.
  • Lead preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts for decision-making.
  • Manage and coordinate financial planning and budget management.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operational results against budget and prior year.
  • Propose and lead initiatives to minimize expenses and maximize profit.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of experience in M&A in a Big4 firm or corporate setting.
  • Experience in finance with multinational companies, including consolidation work.
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced accounting and financial reporting concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with digital finance applications and familiarity with SAP accounting system.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; other language skills desired.
