About the Role

Moderna is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Specialist, Distribution and Logistics to join our team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our commercial operations outside the United States, you will play a critical role in delivering our groundbreaking products to the Spanish market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop Distribution & Logistics processes and systems for the INT (Individualized Neoantigen Therapy) product, including warehousing, packaging, and shipping processes.
  • Oversee the logistics network, ensuring efficient material flow, and perform export-related activities, including updating commercial invoices and managing the greenlight process with Trade Compliance and brokers.
  • Conduct continuous end-to-end tracking of INT shipments and identify potential delays, working closely with QPs, brokers, and 3PLs to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure adherence to Health Authority guidelines such as Good Distribution and Storage Practices and implement GDP-compliant logistics processes, including shipping validation and customs clearance.
  • Collaborate with logistics service providers on performance reporting and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience within Distribution/Logistics and/or Supply Chain.
  • BS/BA Degree in Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics or Business Management.
  • Strong preference towards Pharmaceutical and Biotech experience.
  • Experience working in a cGMP and cGDP environment.
  • Good understanding of the Pharma industry & Supply Chain.
  • Prior experience with Distribution of personalized / individualized medicine, make-to-order Distribution is a big plus.
  • Previous experience in SAP or related ERP system is required.
